Ine Clerckx (°1995) begon met gitaarlessen op negenjarige leeftijd. Dit deed ze in Academie Haspengouw bij Tine Keppens. Vervolgens ging ze naar LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens, waar ze haar studies verder zette bij Raphaëlla Smits. In 2016 behaalde ze met grote onderscheiding een Bachelor in de muziek en in 2018 volgde een Master in de muziek, eveneens met grote onderscheiding. In 2019 behaalde Ine een tweede masterdiploma, dit keer een master Kamermuziek. Voor dit diploma werkte ze samen met violiste Emelie De Bruyne onder begeleiding van Christel Kessels, Raphaëlla Smits en Elisa Kawaguti. In 2019 studeerde Ine in het kader van het Continuing Education programma aan het Royal Conservatoire of Scotland bij Allan Neave en Matthew McAllister.

In 2013 nam Ine deel aan de wedstrijd Belfius Classics, waar ze een tweede prijs behaalde. Twee jaar later, in 2015, nam ze deel aan de auditiedag Cultuurplatform van Forte Limburg. In maart 2019 was ze één van de finalisten van het 'Concours International Roland Dyens' in Parijs.

Verder volgde ze reeds talloze masterclasses in binnen- en buitenland bij onder meer Paolo Pegoraro, Eduardo Isaac, Margarita Escarpa, Shingo Fujii, Gerald Garcia, Martha Masters, Aram Van Ballaert, Rene Izquierdo, Matthew McAllister, Allan Neave, Timo Korhonen en Benjamin Verdery.

Ine is actief bij Elles, een duo gitaar en viool dat muziek brengt uit verschillende genres en werelddelen. Daarnaast is ze ook bezig met het uitwerken van haar eigen projecten, waaronder het ensmeble DRE, bestaande uit contrabas, viool, percussie en gitaar.

Naast het puur muzikale, is Ine ook actief als leerkracht gitaar in de Stedelijke Academie van Vilvoorde. Ook is ze in de zomer monitor op het creatief kamp Kreamuze dat jaarlijks plaatsvindt van 2 tot 12 augustus.

Ine Clerckx started playing the guitar at the age of nine. She followed classes at Academie Haspengouw with teacher Tine Keppens. She continued her studies at LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens, where she’s part of the class of professor Raphaëlla Smits. In 2017 she received the degree of Bachelor in Music with great distinction, followed by a Master in Music, again with great distinction. In 2019, Ine received another master's degree, this time a master in Chamber Music for which she worked together with violinist Emelie De Bruyne. For these studies, they followed classes with Christel Kessels, Raphaëlla Smits and Elisa KAwaguti. In 2019, Ine studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as a Continuing Education student with professors Allan Neave and Matthew McAllister.

 

In 2013 Ine competed in the Belfius Classics competition, where she received second price. Two years later, in 2015, she played at the audition Forte Limburg, Cultuurplatform. In March 2019, Ine was one of the finalists of the 'Concours International Roland Dyens' in Paris. Furthermore, she has been attending masterclasses in different countries with international teachers, including Paolo Pegoraro, Eduardo Isaac, Margarita Escarpa, Shingo Fujii, Gerald Garcia, Martha Masters, Aram Van Ballaert, Rene Izquierdo, Matthew McAllister, Allan Neave, Timo Korhonen en Benjamin Verdery.

Ine is one half of the guitar-violin duo Elles. Their speciality playing music of different genres and continents. She's also busy developing her own projects, including ensemble DRE, consisting of double bass, violin, percussion and guitar.

Next to making music herself, Ine teaches in the music academy of Vilvoorde. She also teaches at the creative summer camp 'Kreamuze' that takes place every year from the 2nd until the 12th of August.
